Midweek Preview - Panthers (a) CC

A Midweek journey to Nottingham to face the Panthers in the 2nd leg of the Challenge Cup Semi-Final, Steelers are down 3-1 so it’ll take a big performance to pull it back.

I fully expect it to be more of the game from the weekend we might find that Dustin Kohn might make a return as I know he’s close to a return but the one problem we do have is the netminding situation. Josh Unice is going to be out for about a week after a head injury in the 1st leg, Frank Doyle is close to coming back so there may be a chance he might be in goal as over the weekend Geoff Woolhouse played 120 minutes and played 115 of them injured, Andy Jaszczyk is the only 100% full fit netminder. So it could be anyone in goal!

More of the same from Nottingham, Kowalski will most probably get the nod ahead of Modig after winning the 1st leg but saying that Nottingham are coming into this on two league defeats to Cardiff and Coventry so changes might be made. Farmer went off with illness over the weekend but expect him to play, Lawrence may also be missing as he took a puck to the head in Sundays game at the SkyDome and the likes of Lee, Clarke and Wild are all still out I believe.

There is no webcast from the NIC nor is premier sports their so you will have to do with updates from @TomWalkeden and @NPHockeyLive and there is a possibility that @FrozenSteelMNL will also be at the game.
