Elite Report: Week 16 Review

So how did we go on with last week's predictions. Here's a quick recap and the current state of play as regards the total so far this season.

Wednesday night: A 50 per cent success rate! Thanks to those loveable wee Bears from down the M1. Would have been full marks if the Storm had held against the Giants, don't worry it's not your fault Phil Spanswick!

Saturday night: Another 50 per cent success rate, wahey! Huge props to big Derrick and the Giants for their regulation win against the Panthers and also to the Caps for winning in overtime against the Stars. Storm went to penalties to overcome the Flyers, despite us wanting a regulation home triumph, and as for Braehead...

Sunday night: A less than fruitful Sunday with only one successful prediction, Stars comprehensively destroying the Caps thanks to a nap hand by young Kevin Bruijsten. The Flying Dutchman! As regards the others, Panthers and Clan won but not how we wanted and the Blaze got burned at home by the Giants; not even scoring a goal.

So how does that take us into this week? We're now at 47 out of 123, and marginally improved the percentage to .382: a step in the right direction maybe? We can only but wish..
