2 goals from Jeff Legue helped the Steelers make it 3 wins on the bounce, defeating a short benched Edinburgh Capitals 4-1 in Ice Sheffield last night.
Stefan Meyer opened the scoring with a power play goal at 13:50, with assists from Steve Goertzen and (audible gasp from the cheap seats) Gord Baldwin.
The second became the #11 show. Legue scored an unassisted goal at 21:22, then made it 3 with another power play goal (yes I know) with assists from Nate Dicasmirro and a not-in-Italy Rob Sirianni at 26:37.
Marcis Zembergs pulled one back for the Caps at 30:01, before Sirianni rounded off the scoring with a shorthanded goal, assisted by Legue, at 37:08.
Tom will be back later with a full length in-person match report, for now lets just bask in the 2 points and a job well done.
