We first started this in November 2013. Liam had just been to the NIC and seen the Steelers roll over so the Panthers could tickle their bellies in a 6-1 defeat.
He wanted to rant about how bad they'd been, but quite frankly Twitter didn't have enough characters to contain how much venom there was to spill out. And thus, the Frozen Steel Blog came to pass.
Liam turned quickly to Tom Walkenden, whose in-depth updates had kept us in time with what happened at many a game, and Alan Clarigbold who was causing quite a stir from what he had to say on an episode of Cats' Whiskers TV.
The reins have been passed on a couple of times, and now sit with Mark Duell @hockeybhoy and his new assistant Tony @Disgu15ed. We try to keep the content fresh and get fans involved.
