Team News
Dustin Kohn and Robert Dowd were absent last night, still, and will not be rushed back. It would be nice to have them back, but I wouldn't expect it. Geoff Woolhouse and Max Lacroix also remain sidelined.
The club moved to address the Rob Sirianni issue last night. Val Pusteria wish to take him to Italy, but the Steelers are standing firm. Of course, Sirianni could just put in his two week's notice, which if he was to do today would mean his last game would be....Boxing Day. Let's just hope he doesn't. I quite like having a player of his quality.
Saturday - BELFAST GIANTS vs Sheffield Steelers
Saturday takes us to the Odyssey Arena, and a meeting with the league benchmark this season. Paul Adey has got them playing well, taking names and winning games. We did win earlier in the season, in the Odyssey, but with how hit and miss we are, I wouldn't like to call it. However, I have to. And I don't think we will.
Prediction: BELFAST GIANTS 4-3 SHEFFIELD STEELERS
Sunday - COVENTRY BLAZE vs Sheffield Steelers
The Skydome, and the Blaze, welcome the Steelers on Sunday. The Skydome has been kind to us this season, and I can see that continuing. The Blaze, though, are extremely infuriating - fantastic one game, dire the next. Probably, it will depend on what happened Saturday. I'm hopeful, and possibly expectant, of the 2 points.
Prediction: COVENTRY BLAZE 2-4 SHEFFIELD STEELERS
