Saturdays game is the 199th in all competitions between the Steelers and Panthers with Wednesday nights game being the big 200. With Sheffield without the suspended Gord Baldwin but will have Nate DiCasmirro back as he is currently away playing the Italian national side on Saturday just as Nottingham will have Stevie Lee and Brandon Benedict back in the line-up ahead of the big week for both teams. An Interesting stat tweet by Sheffield earlier showed that in the 198 games already played Sheffield have won 106 of them while Nottingham have won 80 with their being 12 ties. Sheffield have also out-scored a Nottingham 638-579. So you can guarantee that on Saturday and Wednesday we'll be in for another two cracking games and I'll be happy enough that I'll be at game 199 and game 200. I do think Saturday will be a close game so will have to wait and see till my match report to know the score.
Sunday sees us take on the injury struck Coventry Blaze who in recent weeks the games between the two sides have been goals galore so could be in for more of the same, Sheffield will be back to full strength on Sunday after Baldwin would have served his one match suspension and hopefully the team will pay this weekend like they did in Belfast last weekend despite coming home with zero points it's safe to say Sheffield were the better team all weekend and the fans were outstanding. Sunday I can't see anything other than a Sheffield win.
