SIHA Roundup - U14s Midweek Action

More midweek junior hockey and another good, enjoyable game between Sheffield & Sutton Sting.

This time it was Sheffield Stormers 14’sA v Sting 14’s in a hard fought competitive game that saw Stormers run out 4-1 winners.

Nathan Ripley opened the scoring for Stormers before Sutton equalised, but Lewis Morgan’s effort restored Sheffield’s advantage.

Into the second period Sutton battled hard, but at the same time they were reliant on their netminder Lewis King who put in another terrific performance. However he could do nothing to keep out Sam Colton’s shot that made it 3-1 to Stormers.

The intensity increased in the final period with both teams creating chances has tempers became a little frayed at times but Leon Shaw ensured the victory with a well taken goal to secure a deserved 4-1 win against a spirited & decent Sutton Sting team.
