Game Previews
Just the one game for the Steelers this weekend, as we welcome the old enemy from south of the border to the Motorpoint for the first time this season.
As a new aside, at the end of the preview I will tell you where to go for your hockey fix outside of the Steelers this weekend.
Nottingham Panthers
Well at the start of the week it looked like it'd be quicker for me to reel off a list of who was actually fit, but several players have returned to the ice during the week, so they'll look a bit more like a full hockey team on Saturday.
One player definitely missing will be Brandon Benedict, who suffered a heavy concussion at the weekend and will be out for a few weeks, according to the Panthers website. Robert Farmer will likely be missing with his injury too. Robert Lachowicz is listed as a maybe, after scans showed he didn't have anything broken. Mike Berube, Steve Lee and Evan Mosey have also iced in training, so expect them to play a part. The biggest boost for them though will be the appearance of David Clarke.
However, this could all change after tonight's game against Coventry, which Nathan Robinson will sit out with a 1 game ban for high sticks.
Steelers Team News
Pascal Morency is still listed as day-to-day with his "concussion-like" symptoms, so although it would be nice to have him back, lets not rush him. Rod Sarich will definitely be out, still recovering from his broken thigh. Other than a few bumps and bruises, the Steelers should be otherwise present and correct.
Prediction
A depleted Panthers side. Should be easy? Ner, never count them out. I think we'll win, but it won't be a walk in the park.
Steelers 5 - 3 Panthers
Coverage
As per, there will be a webcast from the Motorpoint on Saturday, costing £8. Alternatively, get @TomWalkeden and @FrozenSteelMNL followed on Twitter for live updates throughout the game.

Elsewhere In Hockey...
Should you be in Sheffield with an itching for hockey, there's plenty more on offer over the weekend.
The Steeldogs have two home games at Ice Sheffield this weekend, playing a league/cup game against those from the dark side of the hills from Manchester tonight (7:45 start), and then face Bracknell in EPL action on Sunday (5:30 faceoff). Tickets cost £10 adults, £7 concessions and just £4 for kids - you can get a family ticket (2+2) for £22, which is superb value.
The NIHL2 Sheffield Senators are away in Bradford on Sunday, with a 5:15 faceoff. Tickets are £5 for adults and £2 for kids.
If you play for a Sheffield hockey team and you're not mentioned on here, and would like to be, email frozen.steel.91@gmail.com with details and get the word out about your team.
