After a four point weekend last weekend including a convincing 6-0 win in Cardiff the Steelers went out and did it again but this time at home to Dundee. Steelers took the lead at 11:07 when Forney was to the right of goal he aimed to pick out Roy but the Steelers top point scorer missed the puck but Petruska was right there to snap one past Marc Cheverie for a 1-0 lead on the powerplay. Sheffield would also score their second on the power play on a night when their powerplay worked a treat and the second goal came at 15:01 Mosienko was in the Dundee zone and he played a cross ice pass onto the tape of Darrell Hay who finished nicely at the back door for 2-0. Into the final minute of the 1st period and Mathieu Roy was in front of goal and he played to his left picking out Michael Forney who got his shot away aiming for the near post and somehow got the puck past Cheverie at 19:56 for 3-0 and that was the score going into the 1st intermission.
End of the 1st Period: Sheffield Steelers 3–0 Dundee Stars
Shots on Goal: Steelers 16-10 Stars

Steelers carried on the second period where they left on in the 1st and would score their third powerplay goal of the game at 34:58 while 6v4 due to another delayed penalty Fretter was picked out in between the circle and nicely slipped the puck under the legs of Cheverie and it was 4-0 and surely game over already. At 38:56 while on the man advantage once again Tomas Petruska scored his second of the night when Mathieu Roy threw a puck in front, Petruska had his first attempt saved on the door step but managed to beat his rebound past Cheverie for 5-0 and Steelers went into the break 5-0 up and Dundee had a mountain to climb if they had any chance of getting something out of the game.
End of the 2nd Period: Sheffield Steelers 5–0 Dundee Stars
Shots on Goal: Steelers 15–8 Stars

Sheffield had turned cruise control off and had plenty of chances in the third period as did Dundee throughout the game but Josh Unice was outstanding and kept them out but it was just the one goal period which came at 45:30 when Colton Fretter scored his second of the night assisted by Dowd and Mosienko, Fretter was in between the circles before he fired a beauty of a snap shot in off the post and that would secure a second consecutive 6-0 win for the Steelers and a second consecutive shutout for Josh Unice who had conceded 1 goal in 3 games since joining the Steelers.
Shots on Goal: Steelers 15–9 Stars
