So what five hockey things did we learn this week?
1> Quite a week for Sam Gospel - becomes an instant Steelers hero with his Semi Final performance against his home town team, and then becomes an EPL champion with the Tigers - top work.
2> CC Cup final baby - Thanks to those seven goals against Kowalski, we're off to the neutral Motorpoint Arena on Sunday - will be strange watching from the Bench side.
3> Goalies are weird - Josh breathes like a whale, and can now be spotted hopping over the lines at the start of the periods - everyone knows you don't step on the cracks.
4> Swedish hockey is now live on Premier - English website here http://www.shl.se/blog/5/ - and if you thought Lulea were good against the Panthers, they are in 8th and only have a play-in position, so might not even make the play-offs.
5> Team GB - To keep your mind off the tense league run-in, here's the IIHF website link for the next Div 1B tournament in Eindhoven.http://wmib2015.iihf.com/en/news/welcoming-the-world/
Final thought for you. As the EIHL are getting two places in the European Champions Hockey League in 2015/2016 - if the Devils win out, might some of the European elite have to play in the Big Blue Tent! I don't imagine all those ex NHL players will enjoy that much.
