Frozen Steel Player Of The Month: January 2014

Welcome back to our second monthly award post, for the player that you, the readers of our humble little blog, deem to have been the best performer in orange.

Last month you gave the award to our superhuman netminder, Frank Doyle. I'm sure somebody told him and he took the award with great glee.....

This month's winner is illustrated by the superb photography work of Dean Woolley, the Steelers match night photographer. Find his work HERE.

Your winner is......

Used With Kind Permission from Dean Woolley
Thats right, with almost 50% of the vote, Captain Fantastic Steven Goertzen wins the January 2014 Frozen Steel Player Of The Month. This despite him missing a game with a knock, and developing insomnia from becoming a father once again. Keep it up Cap'n. Fully deserved.

Our huge thanks go to everyone who voted, and everyone who has read us and kept us going - its been a bit of a tough month for us (already man, its only been two months) but the overwhelming support has kept us going. Thank you all.

Same time next month?
