Introducing Your 2014/15 Match Night Broadcast Team!

It's more than likely you've seen the account banded about Twitter. It was tested out at the Scimitars All Star game and seems good to go.

So I reckon it's about time we introduce you to our new update service for the 2014/15 season.

Frozen Steel Match Night Live will come live from every Steelers home game, and selected away games. It is the brainchild of Alan Claringbold, and he will run it. He will give more of a colour-commentator feel to it. Using his years of hockey-watching to analyse the action, it will take the same slant as his Awkward Analyses - off-the-cuff, on-the-edge, and 100% down the middle. Well, maybe the slightest tint of orange to his specs.
Our tame livetweeter Tom Walkeden will continue to provide his top notch updates at every home game, and any away games he attends, bringing you a more play-by-play approach to live updating. Consider him the Jim Ross to Alan's Jerry Lawler.

So there we are. Two accounts to follow on a home match night if you can't make the game.

@TomWalkeden and @FrozenSteelMNL

It begins in earnest on Saturday 6th September, when the whole FSB team will be at the Motorpoint to see the 2014 Playoff Banner raised to the rafters.

Hope to see you there.
