Frozen Steel Sponsor A Steeler?

So last night it was confirmed that Max Lacroix was leaving the Steelers, which is a bugger as I sponsored his sticks.

So I was looking into who I could sponsor next season before having a brainwave.

We could group together.

I'm not suggesting we all bankrupt ourselves in order to get something, but I'll base these maths on last year's prices.

This is what could be achieved if people donated £10.

Shirt Sponsor Patch
Having the Frozen Steel logo on somebody's shirt. Having "Frozen Steel Blog" read out over the PA when our player hits the ice or scores a goal. Receiving a signed and framed shirt. Invite to sponsors evening. 100 people donate £10, that is achievable.

Player Sponsor (Home or Away)
Gets the name printed in the programme for every game, gets us a game worn shirt. 30 people

Player Sponsor (Warm Up)
Same as above, but we'd get a warm up shirt instead. 18 people.

Full Set Equipment Sponsorship
Name in programme, invite to Sponsors Evening. 16 people. If we had money left over from sponsoring something different, we could sponsor various bits of kit too.

So there we have it. 18 people donating £10 would get us a game worn warm up shirt THAT I WOULD RAFFLE OFF SO ONE OF YOU LOVELY PEOPLE COULD HAVE.

How's about it?

I have set up a Frozen Steel PayPal account. If you wish to donate, send your donations on PayPal to frozen.steel.91@gmail.com, and send it as a gift to friends or family - that way we will only get charged if you use a credit card - 54p on a £10 transaction. Debit cards and Paypal balance transfers are free.

See what you think. It'd be a cracking idea I reckon.
