Midweek Preview - Tomo's Testimonial; Panthers (h) CC

Steelers are at the Arena on Thursday Night when they take on the Panthers in the 1^st Leg of the Challenge Cup Semi-Final and as well as that there is something else you need to go and watch and it’s Tuesday at Ice Sheffield when its Mark Thomas’s Testimonial

This team news part will on go towards the Semi-Final game Thursday, but with no injuries picked up over the weekend I expect the same line-up that played in Nottingham this past weekend and with Dustin Kohn back on the Ice there is a good chance that we may see him re-join the blue line. As well as Kohn goaltender Frank Doyle is also back in training and is said to have caught a puck and trained okay and he’ll get a full weeks training so may see Gerad Adams have a choice to make between Josh Unice and Frank Doyle but after this weekend I expect Unice to get the nod. Woolhouse is still out injured and I’m sure we won’t see Ferrara called up considering we have a full line-up.

Mark Thomas’s big night and his night that he deserves after 10 years of service to the Sheffield Steelers and one that I’m certainly looking forward too, It’s guaranteed to be an amazing night and with Jody Lehman, Steve Munn, Steve Goertzen, Ashley Tait, Jeremy Cornish, Randy Dagenais, Scott Basiuk, Stefan Meyer, Tom Squires, Lee Esders, Chris Frank, Ryan Finnerty, Ron Shudra, Neil Abel, Jim Jorgensen, Colin Shields and Warren Tait all returning and I also believe Rod Sarich, Jonathan Phillips, Jason Hewitt and Jeff Legue are also featuring I do believe I remember seeing that at some point. Get down to Ice Sheffield on Tuesday 19^th February, doors open at 6:15pm and the game starts at 7:15pm and basically just enjoys the show.

Nottingham I believe will be as they were at the weekend with the same line-up with the likes of Stevie Lee, David Clarke, and Cody Wild still missing through injury and after Mattias Modig got the nod at the weekend it will be interesting to see who Cory chooses out of Kowalski and Modig.
