Big Match Preview - Dundee and Coventry

After the debacle that was the Belfast home double header, it's time to get a bit of bouncebackability and fuel any lingering hopes of a three-peat. However, both weekend games are potential banana skins. Let's look ahead to them..

Saturday, we're back across the car park at the en-suite bathroom to face these boys:

Yes it's a warm welcome to former Steeler Marc LeFebvre and his Tayside Stars. The Stars lie in ninth spot in the Elite League at the time of writing this article; three points adrift of Coventry with a couple of games in hand. They have a roster that could seriously upset us especially if we play like we did in the first period on Saturday night against Belfast. They've already shut us out in Tayside and that has to be respected. Joe Fallon has 64 games in the AHL and is a former Chicago Blackhawks draft pick, FĂ©lix-Antoine Poulin will be a threat on the powerplay and Dutchman Kevin Bruijsten has taken to the EIHL like a duck to water.
Going into Sunday, we have another tough road assignment against this side:

Coventry might be eighth but they have been a bit of nemesis as we all know in the last few seasons. Sure we won a feisty encounter just a few weeks ago, but it took us to go to overtime to do so thanks to a game winner from Andreas "Yaldi Valdi" Valdix. We need to compete there and know full well that it will be a bit of raucous atmosphere in the SkyDome. Get Brian Stewart moving as we have mentioned numerous times on the podcast, put pressure on them from the get go and that helps get the wheels moving again. It'll be tough and of the two games, this could be the bigger of the two banana skins.

Predictions: Steelers to get back to winning ways 4-2 on Saturday, and 3-2 (don't care how, really I don't) on the Sunday.
