SIHA Roundup - 5/10/14

Phil Slice continues his focus on Sheffield Ice Hockey Academy by reporting on how the NIHL N2 Sheffield Senators did on their trip to Bradford.

Josh Gent, Sergevs Jegorovs and Tom Humphries all grabbed hat-tricks in Sheffield Senators 12-4 win in Bradford against the Bulldogs.

Senators didn't have things their own way against a spirited Bradford team, who were still in the game at the end of the first just down by three goals to two.

But Sens responded well in the second to capitalise on some good plays to out score Bulldogs 8-1 in the period with a couple of neat short handed goals in the process.

The score was 11-3 to Senators going into the final period which just saw both teams adding one goal apiece to the final score. Reece Carney-Witter bagged a couple of goals for Bulldogs whose other scorers were Myles Dacres & Andrew Brown whilst Senators other scorers in what was a job well done were Mike Mawer with Rudy Molnar grabbing a brace to leave Senators in third place in the league with 5 wins & 2 losses.
