The View From On High - Steelers 5-3 Devils 18/10/14

Well I think it was a good choice for first game of the season.

Skilled hockey. Physical hockey. Intensity. The lot, really.

Here's my thoughts on it.

View From On High - 5 Things I Want To See This Season

It seems like forever since I wrote something opinion-based, and as the hockey season starts tomorrow, sort of, I thought it was high time I did.

The following are not predictions for what I think will happen. They are what I want to happen.

The View From On High: Bargain Buys, Refreshed Returns And Wonder Wingers - The Steelers 14/15 Off-Season

I said I'd wait until we had conducted all our business before seeing where the land laid on our business for the summer. I'm glad I did.

If I'd reacted after each signing, I might have questioned some of them. Some of them didn't make much sense, and didn't excite me that much.

Now I've seen the whole puzzle, I'm delighted.

The View From On High - Blaze (h) (1/4/14, POQF)

Come On Baby, Let The Good Times Roll...

The View From On High - Hull (a) 23/3/14

So with everything else I tried to organise (and failed with) for Sunday, would you believe a hockey game actually took place?

Lets look at it a bit deeper.

The View From On High - @Panthers (18/2/14)

Liam McCausland looks back on the second leg of the Challenge Cup Semi.

This could so easily have been called "What Went Wrong Last Night" but I went for a bit of continuity.

I'm ashamed to say that last night was my first in the flesh game since Boxing Day, and I had high hopes of, if not winning the tie, certainly winning the game last night. Erm....yeah...

The View From On High - Vs Panthers (26/12/13)

The views of Liam McCausland, from his perch at the top of block 204 at the Motorpoint Arena.

The first time I've really been able to do a proper analysis on a game, and it was a cracker to start with.

Personally, a great evening for me. Leading the block in chanting, being given a bottle of champagne for being gobby (thank you Steelers Org), and getting to meet Max Lacroix as part of my sponsorship afterwards. Oh aye, we won 2-0 as well.
